Our story

Marathi Jewels by Evaggelia was born from the love for creation, art and detail.

The creator has studied Art Conservation and has worked as an excavation designer at Akrotiri in Santorini, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. Before engaging in jewelry making, she created copies of frescoes and mosaics, experiences that cultivated aesthetics, patience and respect for materials.

The journey of handmade jewelry began in 2006 in Marathi, Chania, in a small outdoor shop by the sea. She took her first steps in jewelry next to a man who introduced her to the art of jewelry. He is "Chubby"... and she is deeply grateful to him, because thanks to him her love for jewelry began.
Since then, nature, the light of the Aegean and the beauty of summer have been the main source of inspiration for the creations.
Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted with special care and attention to detail. The creations use materials that combine aesthetics and durability, such as natural stones, steel elements, high-quality metal elements, small beads and wax thread, a material particularly loved for its natural texture and durability in everyday use.

Marathi Jewels' philosophy is simple: jewelry should harmonize with the wearer and express their personal style. The collections include jewelry for women, men and children, designed for everyday use as well as for special occasions.
Some jewelry items can be ordered in a different size or color, while selected creations can be custom designed, making each piece of jewelry even more personal and unique.
Direct communication with the customer is something the creator particularly loves. That is why Marathi Jewels places great importance on personal contact, so that each customer can discuss, ask questions or customize a piece of jewelry according to their style.
Behind the digital side of Marathi Jewels is a partner who takes care of the e-shop and the online experience. In the internet world, he is known by the nickname «Accestos» — fortunately only in name… although in reality he is a highly cultured person who helps Marathi Jewels function in the digital world as well.
So, behind Marathi Jewels there is a small team that combines creativity, technology and a love for direct communication with the customer.
